Originally starting
business in Stockton on Tees
but now our head office is based off the A19 at Dalton
Piercy the company has recently invested tens of thousands of pounds in
new equipment and technology. A recent acquisition has been the addition
of another exceptional engraving machine the Gravograph IS System.
In October a new
Sales Office under the direction of Mike Rogers it's Business Development
Manager opened in Milton Keynes offering the same high level of service as on
Teesside.

Another acquisition has
been the Roland Camm 600 vinyl cutting and printing machine. The ability
to print at 600 dpi on to vinyl in multi colour gives it the edge over
screen printing for many jobs. It is ideal for small runs so that if a
Client needs one multi-coloured label this machine is capable of producing
without the need for any set up charge yet still at the fraction of the cost
of screen-printing.

Roland Color Camm PC60 Pro
Gives full colour printing 600 dpi plus gold and silver metallic on
standard vinyl, producing photo quality output. For signs, decals
stickers and iron on transfers. It can also be sued for standard
cutting on media up to 24" (610mm) wide. |

In June 2005 we acquired a
Solvent print and cut machine keeping ahead of our competitors. We can
produce graphics and shaped labels faster and better quality than ever before.
We can print direct to banners and posters and really make van livery stand
out from the crowd.
Overall the above equipment has
established A1 Graphics as one of the most up to date equipped engravers and
sign makers on Teesside giving them the capacity to do complex assignments
other competitors find hard to produce. It also enables them to carry
out large quantity work ~ a recent task was for engraved plates in excess of
20000 which no other local competitor could manage to do in the time and at
the price quoted by A1 Graphics
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Customers mean a
lot to us they are after all our life blood and we take very good care of
them. As an example we had a project from a new customer in Milton
Keynes where another local engraver had let them down and they needed to get
the job out by the end of the month. The project which was a lot of
precision engraving on to metal and our workshops in the North East (Teesside)
got the job at the last minute which they finished at 9.30am on the 30th June
- we personally delivered the goods in Milton Keynes at 1.00pm the same day to
a delighted customer. Now we would not wish to do this too often
especially the 400 mile round trip in a day but we were determined to keep our
commitment to the customer that he would have his goods on the 30th. A
real team effort.
